Fox anchor wins cool customer award by continuing to report while two women try to kiss them - VIDEO

Mike Tobin keeps his cool

Mike Tobin of Fox News brought focus to a new level after stopping two attention seekers dead in their tracks while simultaneously reporting an unfortunately acute story.

Two women approached Tobin from opposing sides planning a simultaneous kiss attack while cameras were live and rolling. A seemingly harmless gesture but in the midst of one of America’s most horrific tragedies, the Boston Marathon bombings, Tobin, who was recounting the attack’s timeline, had no time for the insensitive interruption.

As Tobin reported from Boston in front of floral tributes the women entered the shot quickly to find a stiff arm instead of a soft cheek. Tobin was heard calmly saying, “Please don’t do that,” and quickly returned to his duties finishing the live segment.

Tobin tweeted, “Heckling comes with the biz. But it's not like they would not no the sbjct. I hope their friends let thm no it wz inappropriate. (sic)”

The video has begun to go viral and Tobin has been praised for his extreme poise via twitter. Tradd Slayton wrote, “That was great Mike fought off 2 kiss bombs and didn't miss a beat!,” and Grant Friedman joked, “@MikeTobinFox eyes on the sides of your head. Nice work.”

After much deliberation the BBC has decided that it will play a short clip of the song “Ding Dong! The Witch is Dead” after the track surged up the iTunes chart in Britain following the death of Margaret Thatcher.

On Friday the BBC release a statement saying the corporation “finds this campaign distasteful but does not believe the record should be banned."

BBC Radio 1 controller Ben Cooper said "You have a track which I believe is disrespectful. It is not a political track, it is a personal attack on an individual who has just died.

"But on the other hand, if I ban the track then you have arguments about censorship and freedom of speech.

"I also took into account the very difficult scenario of the fact there's a grieving family involved here who have yet to bury a loved one."

The song is now at number 1 in the iTunes UK top ten charts following an Internet campaign to push the song up the charts.

Here’s the song “Ding Dong the Witch is Dead” from the 1939 movie “The Wizard of Oz” starring Judy Garland:

Irish snack staple Tayto is branching out in the sweets world with their release of a chocolate bar infused with their famous cheese and onion crisps.

Tayto has teamed up with Butlers Chocolates to create a “truly Irish product” after consumer demand went viral on social media outlets.

Ray Coyle, founder of Largo Foods and the man behind the Tayto theme park in Ireland, said "It's a bit of fun, you will either love it or hate it, but our consumers asked for it and we said why not!"

Coyle added that the new snack is in stores only "because people have been asking us for it.”

"There are only 100,000 bars in circulation and it is now on the market because of people power."

The limited-edition bar is available in Tayto Park in Ashbourne, Co Meath, and will be stocked in Irish retailer shops including Londis, Gala, Costcutter, Topaz and Spar.
