Ireland's dumbest criminals - child gets stuck inside an arcade claw game - VIDEO

Claw machine - the prefect crime?
You think you've seen it all and then something like this comes along. This video YouTube video shows a woman desparately trying to get her child out of an arcade claw game machine at the Sainsbury's supermarket in Belfast City.

The description of the video says "A lady is seen pushing her child up the prize drawer of a machine for the money attached to the prizes."

Who knows?! Whether it was attempted robbery or that the child was just an over enthusiastic claw machine player this is definitely a contender for the list of Ireland's dumbest criminals.

British woman dumps her husband for the love of Irish boy band Westlife

Westlife
British woman, Jane Holmes, plans to ditch her second husband for her love of west of Ireland boy band group Westlife. The boy band announced they would go their separate ways last month.

Holmes says she is "addicted" to the band. She has eight tattoos of the Irish group and has spent £30,000 traveling around the UK to see them on tour.

Her husband told her "Choose Westlife or me."

The 44-year-old fan opted for the Westlife instead of her man according to reports in the Daily Mirror.

She said "I think he thought I was joking but he soon realised I wasn't. I always get stopped in the street and he couldn't hack the attention I was getting.

"The concerts take up a lot of my time and money. Westlife are a really big part of my life. I'm completely devoted to them and the tattoos are my way of showing my loyalty. I like to think I am their biggest fan.

"It's my only hobby. I don't smoke, I don't drink, so Westlife are my only addiction."

Here's a video of their most popular song:

Irish culture, Irish dance and 'Riverdance' embraced in Israeli - VIDEO

Airforce gents doing their best 'Riverdance' impression in Tel-Av
This has to be on of the weirdest clips to stumble on but also the most refreshing. From the Tel-Aviv TV series "Naor's friends" the clip shows "Israeli Air Force pilots performing Riverdance, drinking beer in an Irish pub and enjoying Irish music".

The clip is being used to promoted Israeli Film Days at the Filmbase in Dublin (November 24th - 27th).

Who knew Irish culture in Israel is considered pretty trendy.''

Hell hath no fury like a golfer's wife scorned - PHOTO

Add posted on the back of truck in North County Dublin - don't mess with this woman!
Here's a billboard spotted by a Twitter user this Monday in Finglas, north county Dublin. An angered wife had obviously reached her last straw and paid for this billboard sized message to be mounted on the back of a lorry in full view of the M3 motorway.

@100CoursesClub posted the photo with the message "Hell hath no fury like a golfer's wife scorned. Spotted just off the M3 between Finglas & St Margarets. #divorce http://t.co/7hMaClh6".

Where will Ireland be in two years? Kilkenomics festival sheds light on the issues

Logo of Kilkenomics
Economist and comedians alike gathered last week in Kilkenny for the second annual Kilkenomics festival.

The festival’s main goal was to provide, in layman’s terms, a discussion of what is happening with Ireland’s economy today. “It’s serious, but it’s fun too,” says its website.

During the events, several of those in attendance were asked the simple yet loaded question of “Where will Ireland be in 2 years?”

The answers, not surprisingly, ranged from sarcastic, to hopeful, to dim.
